YAY! I finally made it to Onederland! And it feels so good! It's been 16 years since my scales have read under 199...and I actually saw it yesterday, but didn't want to post until I had seen it two days in a row. Yes, yesterday was a VERY GOOD DAY...I took the day off from work, I watched a fairytale wedding (in my PJ's, while sipping English Breakfast tea), I toasted the happy couple with a small sip of champagne when they had their first kiss, I got to the gym and did a pool sculpting class, got one dog to the vet for a checkup and the other dog to the groomer for spring beautification, and I found a robin sitting on her nest in my grapevine! Oh yeah, AND I stepped on the scales and had finally broken the 200 barrier! Can I hear some cheers?
So that's three out of five goals on my journey:
Goal #1: Get the surgery. Check!
Goal #2: Get halfway to goal. Check!
Goal #3: Get below 200 lbs. Check!!!
Goal #4: Reach goal weight....give me a few more months...
Goal #5: Maintain goal weight....time will tell, but I'm counting on all of you for your support!
Thank you all for being here for me and with me on this journey...your love and support have meant so much, through the good days and the not-so-good days (mostly good for me though). You understand as no one else in my life possibly can, and I pray that perhaps I have been able or will be able to give you some courage, hope, or motivation somewhere along your own journey.
