Post op day three after my MMO!

I am now at the very nice hotel I'm Mexicali. I wish I could have been here the whole time. I had the TT which they removed 5 lbs of skin and 10 lbs of lipo from sides back and hip area's I also have a lift and implants 410 cc looking good so far. I'm very bruised and I hurt everywhere. I haven't been able to sleep because of the pain... Ugh. Toradol was all I needed for the sleeve, but this is a whole new ball game. I am asking for meds today!!! Beauty is pain right??

Omg!! You poor thing! I'm glad I didnt have any lipo. I was so happy when Dr Niebles said, "You dont need lipo".But, I am going to ask for some on the inside of my knees when I go to see him in 2 weeks. I mean, how bad could that hurt? Yikes!!!

lipo is very painful, kind of feels like you were beaten with a baseball bat, or hit by a car.

Please take care of yourself! I am sure the pain is worth it! Please keep us updated on your progress! I'm curious because I am going to need a tummy tuck very badly! I've yo-yo dieted so long that now that I'm older my skin is flabby and not bouncing back like it used to!

As it seems that the tummy tuck and lipo are more painful than the sleeve, I'll be looking to stay in hospital setting rather than a clinic. I want good access to lots of good drugs, should I decide I need further surgery.

Why did you chose to go to Mexicali? Could tell us about the care and the cost compared to what you experienced at Dr. Almanza's hospital?

I was one of the girls that went on the Vegas trip. Dr Luque was the Dr that came to Vegas and did out consultations. I really liked him and he seemed to be very smart and spike perfect English. After I got home I was wanting to book with him but ended up scheduling with dr Neibles because of the cost difference $8200 compared to $ 5500. After I saw several complaints about how he wasn't that great with breast and the one girl that had the bad infection or rejection of her breast.. My gut just kept telling me to go with Dr Luque. It was a personal decision, but I felt I had very personalized aftercare. With this surgery being a big one I just felt I needed that. My mom is going to Dr Almanza Wed for her sleeve. I told her I recommend him. I still do and would go again in a heartbeat. For the MMO Mexicali and the hospital setting was my choice. Dr Luque did excellent work. I think I look pretty dang good and I'm still very swollen. Sometimes being a nurse u learn gut feelings well and I just didn't feel as confident with plastics at CJ as I did going into the sleeve :-) I hope this helps. I know there are a lot of patients completely satisfied with CJ. My breast needed a lot of work and dr Luque main passion is breast reconstruction from breast CA patients he is excellent
