Bold question, but i have to know!!!

Ok ladies, my question(s) are.... Sex!!! How long do you have to wait before you can have it again? Is it different being sleeved? Is painfull? Better? Worse? Do your drive change? for the better? or worse? etc etc etc... Please excuse my bluntness, but Im human and this subject has been on my mind and probably crossed quite a few minds. So I will deffinitly speak about it.

I returned to full activity probably within a week (I'm not too patient in that dept. ) I believe that the more weight that comes off, the better the sex and the higher my drive and my husband's too. You will be sore at first if you choose not to wait long, but just get creative and you can find a comfortable position. No worries about your bluntness, this is most of ours favorite topic LOL

My surgeon ok it a week post op.. She just said to have my hubby do the work at first. To me it felt allot better since Ive lost some weight and husband can really tell a difference too.

O wow, that soon.. So was there alot of pain where the insicions were? Did you have to take alot of pain meds before?

I waited until my two week check-up. It was fine just be mindful of your surgery sights and any soreness. It is better and my drive is much improved......I'm pretty sure it will only get better as time goes by and weight comes off. Good question, keep em' comin.

I'll be 4 weeks out tomorrow and waited until now and yes it is better once the weight falls off ive lost 32 pounds and theres less gut in the way lol

It's a little sore, but definitely manageable.... I wasn't taking my pain meds anymore by then.

Sex? I remember sex.....I think. It has been quite a while for me, as I have been single for a long time. But after 80 pounds of weight loss, my hormones are reminding me that sex is a good thing......

For me it was a little after 3 weeks. I think everyone is different. Prior to that I was too lethargic having to put all my available energy into making sure I did my best at work. By the time I got home that was it for the day. I can't really comment on my own six drive as I was in menopause and it had dwindled quite a bit. Now, four months after surgery my period has returned, of all things after 17 months of not having it. We'll see what happens with that and my desire down the line. The sex is better though as the weight loss does facilitate a personal kind of satisfaction in my own appearance and well being which in turn makes me feel sexier and more desireable. It's all very interesting and one we all should talk about a bit more here.

I am praying that the sex drive comes back and that it is more enjoyable after the weight loss... I am MANY years post menopausal and with the added weight gain, it is the LAST thing I wanted... and it wasn't as enjoyable, I am sure it is due to body image. We will see.. the boyfriend thinks me having the surgery is simple vanity anyway... :-)

Shit,,I cant get enough,,I dont know bout you ladies but I got some the day I got out of the hospital and since Ive lost some weight,everything has improved,my ol lady cant keep up,ha ha...killin it!!

Hahahaha this is hilarious!! I hope my husband follows in your footsteps. He's overweight and struggles to keep up with me. His surgery is scheduled for March though and if his sexual drives improves as well as mine has once he starts losing, its gon be on like donkey kong up in our house hahahaa Lets just say I'm really looking forward to him having surgery lol
