Almost 9 months out and I now for the last few months have not had a sex drive. Have anyone experienced this? If so was something off in ur body?

awww... that sucks
My experience is the exact opposite. Are you taking your vitamins and stuff? I take mutli-vitamin, sublingual B-12, vitamin D, calcium, chewable fiber, and biotin as my normal breakfast. Are you maybe missing something that could be causing you to feel that way?

I take all my vitamins religiously and if I never had to have sex again, that would be okay with me too. Quite clearly my husband doesn't feel that way but if it were up to me... *sigh*

I think it has more to do with estrogen level. Fat stimulates estrogen production. Less fat, less estrogen, less sex drive.

I'm with Jewel and Jamie, I never lost mine, but at 330lbs, didn't have any takers, I'm down 72lbs and am getting allot of compliments. so maybe soon. I'm 60 and as soon as I find someone, she better look out, it's gonna be a long night, morning, afternoon.......... !!!!

Hi, if you are concerned about this problem I would have your estrogen levels check. During rapid weightloss your estrogen levels can both increase, which is why Jewel had opposite affects, or it can decrease, which would account for your lack of sex drive. Also, one thing I noticed in myself (I have not had the surgery yet) but, my sex drive damn near disappeared after I stopped taking birth control.Type estrogen and rapid weightloss into a google search and you will pull up tons of articles on the subject. I would have given you the one that I read, but apparently you cannot post outside links unless you have posted at least 15 times as a member on this site, and I am sort of new. Best of luck!
