OK, I confess, I did not do much exercise during my pre op diet. During the entire 2 weeks, I did cardio maybe 5 times and strength training maybe 7 times with a resistance band.
Since my surgery on the 16th, I began walking 20-30 minutes a day and felt great. That was until I hurt myself sweeping on the 22nd. Since then, I have done nothing and I'm having a very hard time motivating myself to at least walk. My energy level was great up until then, but now I feel exhausted all the time and my left side it giving me a great deal of pain.
Considering I have a desk job and therefore have been almost completely sedentary up until now, is it OK to just walk and do a bit of strength training with my bands? I feel like everyone is doing these killer workouts, but honestly I am so frickin' exhausted I just can't imagine even walking, much less doing anything more strenuous. How do I get myself motivated when I feel like garbage?
