Daily Exercise-You Getting Any?

Hey, SS, I had the same problem as Stephy mentioned in the other thread regarding your blog blocking-wassup w/ that? I saw you wrote a new blog on weight loss and wanted to read it...

N/p, Munchkin...we all have our issues. Hopefully exercise every other day and some patience will fix it. Today I do my shopping workout Very slowly and carefully, of course, and in good shoes

There are so many things this could be...hip bursitis, inflammation of the illiac band, inflammation of a slipped or herniated disc. I'd really like them to take an MRI but that's expensive...I've had various forms of this over the last 20 years but never this severe. One thing that made it almost disappear, though, was weighing 30 lbs. less than I do now, though, so onward and upward!

Did 2 hours of hard housecleaning yesterday, but have not been to Zumba in a week...

Almost forgot to log my exercise! I was raring to go this morning.

53 minute stroll thru the hood, all cement. A little bit faster pace than yesterday but had to slow down when my pain started acting up. It's weird how this pain presents, today it was my left leg where it meets the body, yesterday in the low middle back. Strange. So back to slow soft walking.

TrailNurse, take it from me (although I know you're in better shape and know you would kick my ass) you don't want to injury yourself! It's a repent at leisure kind of hell.

Hey Dee....what about swimming? Won't that be easy on the joints? I'm sure there has to be a local YMCA or some kind of indoor pool in your area...

Nothing...I am a slug today! Went to Zumba class last night then had to drive 160 miles to Vail (and back) to rescue my son after he got stranded. Got to bed at 2AM, then up at 7AM to go to work.

Dee -- I hope you feel better soon. Seems like we have a lot of injuries with you, Grace, and SCal. FEEL BETTER, everyone!

Today 1 mile swim in record time -- for me, it was 51 minutes! Woohoo!
Started out at 90 minutes, then 80, then 60 somehow, then 55, and 54, and today, I just went for it hardcore and all I got was 51 -- ah well, such is life. Guess I won't make it back to my old record of 36 - 37 minutes -- but not bad after 23 years.

I did Amphibious boot camp last night. I was sooooo tired when I got home I showered and was asleep in less than 10 minutes...hahahaha Boot camp again tomorrow night. Very intense workouts...my legs are STILL sore from last Wednesday. And tonight my abs are still feeling the burn from last night. I found it difficult to eat anything today..just wasn't in the mood...but I did manage 40 grams of protein and 64 ounces of water. Hopefully, tomorrow I am in more of an eating mood...I don't want my body to think I am starving it!

Did an hour spinning. Nothing made me more old than spinning with a group of people half my age. LOL!

Good job, everyone! Stephy, swimming won't work for me for a variety of reasons but it does work for a lot of people like Gayle, etc.! The doing walks every other day combined w/ stretching and stregnthening exercises seems to be working, just slowly. And that's okay b/c I need to learn more patience as it is

More and more dancing. Just Dance 4 is pretty fun though Yesterday I played that for 30 min and shopped in the mall for 2 hours.

Oh, and do whatever your BB tells you to do, lee-I'm glad you have something fun. I'm totally pissed off at BB b/c they changed the software to Windows only so I can't use it. Hello, SOME people use Macs!

I just noticed your ticker says 179 Dee...Way to go...you must be doing something right...YAY!! and sad but-I have no excercise to report...I have been in a rut, not feeling like going to Zumba.:/

I want a personal trainer. I've been at 179 forever-it's a weight my body really likes 170-180 and I'm working on it being okay if my body wants to stay at this weight. Still need to stay in shape, etc., of course.

I did 1 mile on the treadmill this morning along with some gentle stretching excercises. I'm feeling better each day (knock on wood), but I need to remind myself not to get too crazy and re-injure myself. Patience Dee?? wth is that? LOL Hope you're feeling better!

Wow, that seems like a bad business choice for them to do, especially since after the first 6 months you have to PAY 15 bucks a month to use the software on top of that! I wish the software wasn't so annoying -- I have to turn off my web antivirus feature in order to use it on my computer, otherwise it won't load. Plus their database isn't nearly as extensive as MFP, unfortunately, which means more entering nutrition info. I wanna be lazy and can't lol.
