    Default 20 weeks out

Nearly 20 weeks out. Still struggle sometimes with my decision to do this, though mostly happy.

The good: Down nearly 80lbs in 4 months, though I don't see the differences as much as everyone else seems to (darn fat mirrors in my house). Stalls still happen - seemed I was in the 260's FOREVER.. then in a week and a half I dropped almost 20lbs. My ability/intensity in the gym is well above what it was pre-op! Getting in enough fluids is so easy now, thank heavens. Also, I can have anything I want now, it's rare that something doesn't agree with me.

The bad: I can have anything I want now, it's rare that something doesn't agree with me; including beer - shame on me! Still have acid reflux, though that is getting better very slowly. Occasionally get sharp pains behind incision scars, can't for the life of me figure out why that's happening.

The ugly: Finding extra skin, something I had successfully managed to avoid in the 140lbs loss I had prior to surgery. It's showing up in my arms and upper thighs mostly, and it's becoming painfully clear I'm not going to be able to get out of having a breast lift. Physical things aside, I'm having mental/emotional trouble in adjusting to being just chubby/overweight instead of morbidly obese. My first instinct when shopping is to go for the plus size sections though in most cases I can easily fit in an L or XL. My size awareness is wildly off, I still look at clothes/seating/places and think I just can't fit in them.

Want to end this on a positive note, so.. Big news of the week, I am officially below the maximum allowable weight for skydiving (my goal now for 2 years) - and my skydiving trip has been scheduled for the 2nd week of August!!
    Highest known weight: 463lbs.
    Weight on surgery day: 321lbs.
