So I'm a few weeks out from surgery. For the life of me and my new tummy I can not keep an egg down???? Why? Then today I try some split pea soup, 6 spoonfuls later I am sick ! Shouldn't I be able to eat eggs and thicker soup by now? Very frustrated

I'm 11 months out and still can't eat real eggs. Just this past month I can get some egg beaters down, but not real eggs. I don't know why, I used to eat 2 eggs a day, every day for about 20 yrs. Soup? I think it's the fact it was pea soup, too much fiber for this soon out. Did you try some cream of chicken/mushroom/etc?

Oh Miss SS it's the taste! The only people that I have ever known who did like it were my father-in-law and my Jewish friends. It's neat that you love it b/c it is so good for you.

You should try it, its all blended with egg it tastes great, its the adult baby baby food.

I prepared 1 jumbo egg and I ate half the egg and was so stuffed about an hour later I could finish the other half. I used to be able to eat a dozen eggs at one sitting
