Well it has been a great week. Last monday was surgery and I was released on Wednesday a.m. Since that time it has been clear liquids with some additions. The surgeon said I could add some very very fine puree, and boy am I glad he did. i have had no nausea, but the last couple days have had some increase in hunger. Plus he's making me do 80 grams protein! That has been the hardest to get down. Otherwise it has been clear sailing. i am so happy this has went through so smoothly.

Glad to hear you are doing well. I am at 7 days post op today. I have had a great recovery as well with no major issues.

The only concern I have is the same - am I having enough Protein??

I was sleeved on the 28th also, got out of the hospital on that Wednesday. I envy you..i don't get to start on pureed food until Sunday!! LOL I'm doing wonderful and feeling better everyday! Glad to hear you're doing good too. I have to do 75 grams of protein a day, i just drink Isopure 3x a day. Goes down smooth!!

I envy you there. I can't get past the smell of Isopure! I can do the muscle milk and the protein shots from Walmart, but Isopure churns my stomach.
