I got July 25th! So glad to be having surgery before the end of July! My pre-op liver shrinking diet starts July 11th. 2 protein shakes, 1 fat free lite yogurt, and 4 oz. of meat with 1 cup of green veggie for 14 days....I hope no one gets killed (by me). LOL

Looks like we have a three people on the 24th, thats when I am having my surgery!!

I finally got my date today. Surgery is scheduled for July 10th it has been a long road to get here and I know it will be very well worth it in the end.

***They had to reschedule surgery to the 17th of July which is ok it gives me a little more time to prepare. Very nervous and excited all at the same time.

My surgery is on the 11th. Luckily I only have 3 days of liquids prior to surgery. I am getting a little nervous and worried that I won't have enough juice and broth to last the first few days I am home. Everytime I am at the store I pick up another can of broth or something. This is making me CRAZY! I just can't wait until the surgery is over. I will be okay after that. Good luck to US!

I'm getting nervous too. We had a preop class and it went over so much stuff that I never thought of.

I go to my preop class on the 5th, I have a preop appt with my dr for the blood work and such on Monday.... getting so close....

is anyone else crabby as they get closer? I'm ok with the food stuff, working on the head stuff, not ok with people I know having no filter.
I feel like putting on my voice mail "yes, I'm excited, yes, I'm nervous, two nights, be home on the 4th, no don't need a ride, yes my daughter's taken care of"

and my daughter (8) is super clingy and touchy (which is fine, I love our snuggle time) but it's almost like having an infant again, the constant touch. I'm not sure how to best reassure her.

My son is the same way he is scared for me and does not want me to do it. I am so excited. I'm irated because I'm getting off caffeine and dr pepper which cause you to feel different. Your surgery is really close.

I have a 6yr old that is also autistic. Sometimes he gets it, sometimes not. We have had 1 crying spell already. I think it will hit him when mommy is not home for 4 days. But I KNOW that it will be awesome when, in just a few months, I will be able to run around with him, play on the playground with him...all the stuff I miss out on now. I volunteer in his classroom. So it will be nice to fit in those little chairs (he will be 1st grade!). Okay...tears in my eyes. LOL.
On another site someone mentioned we may need to bring band-aids/bandages if you are going to mexico. So I have added that to my travel bag. am all ready..just waiting for my date...and waiting...and waiting...
