Welcome and how are you doing???? 9 more days for mine and I hope I don't chicken out!
Hi Theresa, I am from the UK, I had my surgery 25th June 2012 in Mexico with Dr Almanza. Nothing happened to me that I wasn't able to cope with; the biggest thing is the tiredness I feel a lot of the time ... I am taking mulit vit. B12 and Glucosamine and having a blood test as I think my iron may be a liitle low. I am able to eat most things but sometime forget to slow my eating down and pay the price.
My surgery was straight forward as was the healing process I am so glad I had it done. You wont chicken out, you want this and need this to help you with your weight struggle.
Good luck ... positive thinking goes along way :-)
seriously thinking about getting a gastric sleeve. how many days are you in the hospital and off work for? thanks![]()

Again thank you for all the support and all the great help to come. Congrats to everyone who has done it, who will get it, or who is thinking about it.... God bless you all and have a MERRY, MERRY Christmas!! and of course and AMAZING NEW YEARS!!

I love this forum and everyone here that I've encountered so far. It's great to have such an incredible support group. Thank you all so much for this site.
Side note... you should look into seeing if you can have your forum on Tapatalk, an Android/iPhone app so we can utilize that site for easier access on the go.![]()
I like your butterfly.
Underneath it you will see in blue writing "thank you" and "welcome to Gastric Sleeve" buttons.........and that's how you do it!
I am still finding my way around this site.
It is a bit overwhelming, but just search around and see what you find that interest you.
I have already found a lot of info and support in just 3 days!
It is a whole new world for us, let's discover it together.
