I want the eye lift and the weekend face lift! Let's all plan a gathering and get our surgery in the same week! Then we can party in Mexico together (with lots of healthy food)! Maybe we can get a group discount...

I'll do it if I can manage the money. Just to look smoother in clothes, as others have said. Tummy and an ehem, upper body, lift would be tops on my list. I had two kids by age 20 and nursed them both.. well, you ladies know what I mean.

Lizzie wants to get a tattoo. I want to get mine laser-ed off! Like a dummy I put one on my thigh and now I have to cover it up with essentially body spackle when I go swimming. dumb, dumb, dumb not to have thought ahead to when I'd have grandkids...
Best NSV - fitting on a kid's amusement park ride with my 4 yr old grandson!
CFIDS =Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) Also dx with post-bariatric reactive hypoglycemia; and chronic gastritis (both sleeve complications). Permanently disabled.
Start weight 335, down to 218, up during gastritis. Have accepted there is no way to lose it with my hypoglycemia. Current weight 260. Currently doing 10 day sleeve reset and determined to get back down to my post surgical weight or close to it.

I DO have a rash already from where my tummy rubs. I keep everything as clean and dry as I can but it still breaks out. I really think my arms and legs will be the saggiest. I am only two weeks post op and my arms already look like bat wings. I have started some gentle exercises but I have little hope that the skin will pop back into beautiful shape. I think I would be OK with never exposing my legs from the knee up but I would like to be able to wear sleeveless blouses again. I will consider at some point arm and tummy fixes.

I've thought about whether or not I'll want plastic surgery once I meet my target weight. I'm 29, so I may draw up some, but I will probably have a lot of flab in the tummy and boobs that look like tube socks with baseballs at the end. :P A lot of it will depend on if I decide to have a child in the next few years; if I do, I'll probably wait until all of that's done before I seriously consider it.
Sleeved by Dr. Luis Gorospe on 5/2/11.

You can definitely get a great surgeon and great results for much less than 30,000

I looked into pricing, on the preliminary side and I'm looking at about $30k for my arms, tummy and breasts ... OUCH

I'm now in the low 150's, down from altime high of 249lbs. I never thought for a moment I'd need plastic surgery but now, pants that fit my bum and hips squeeze all the belly fat over the top of the pants so have to wear loose shirt. I look small overall but when I run, the loose skin shakes up and down on my back and legs. My arms are hanging and the skin is weird and wrinkly...it seemed okay when I was midway...but now that more fat has gone out of them, they are embarrassing and I want to wear 3/4 sleeves. Anyone seeing me in clothes would have no idea because I dress to cover these things. I could continue this way but I am irritated with the limitations I still have in clothing...arms of shirts too tight on droopy arms etc.
So, I conceded that I needed a tummy tuck...then got used to the idea of a scar on my arms. Then noticed wrinkly ass cheeks and considering lower body lift...then I may as well have a medial thigh lift...then I thought while I'm at it, I may as well take care of my droopy neck...oh, and lift my breasts. I'm going to Costa Rica and it'll cost me around 22K for all this and face lift/eyelid surgery...kindof an extreme makeover...you never know what you'll want to do until you get there...LOL

I started at 245 and have been at my goal (140-143) for over a year. Like you, I can look great in clothes as you learn to wear what's flattering. I don't like the extra skin (and flab) that hangs on my belly and has a life of its own when I run. It actually makes a noise! I am getting a tummy tuck and some lipo for sure. My breasts look good in a bra but are pretty deflated otherwise. Breast lift is in order (might need small implants too). I also am considering a Brazialian Butt lift. No loose skin on my butt (thankfully I didn't widen out a lot in my heavy years) but my butt has lost it's rounded shape. I can live with it but if I am getting lipo anyway, they might as well put it there! Likely will get a bit of lipo on my back and sides while they are sucking out the tummy area! Arms I can live with. No real flab there just some crepey skin but it only shows at times. Face or neck lift is not something I'm considering. I'm happy with my wrinkles I've earned. Thankfully, no loose skin in the neck area. I am still looking at options for places to have it done. Was going to go to Jerusalem as that is where I had my sleeve. Now they have a new surgeon so I'm going to wait and hear the feedback from some that are having their surgery shortly to see what he's like.

Well, I've already had a boob lift of sorts, bilateral mastectomies with reconstruction, and a mini tummy tuck since they used my belly fat for my new boobs. Unfortunately I still have my nemesis, my upper belly fat to contend with. I'm sure my worst parts will be my upper thighs and my bat wings. I don't think insurance hardly ever pays for those, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they firm up some after I lose weight. One good thing about having breast cancer, after I get to goal, if my boobs need fixed again insurance will pay for it!

As far as pain and healing...I was in the hospital for 4 days. More so for making sure the blood flow was there for my new boobs. I was off morphine by the second day. The only time I had any real pain was just getting out of the stupid hospital bed. Once I was home, I only took percoset at night to help me sleep and alieve during the day. By a week out, my belly didn't hurt much at all, but the drains were extremely irritating! I came home with 6 drains, 2 in each boob, and 2 in the stomach. My belly scar goes hip to hip and looks just lovely, oh and I got a new belly button too.
