After three year of being banded, I am now facing being unbanded. It is a very emotional thing for me and I refuse to go back to my old life.
I am researching the sleeve to continue my journey and to stay healthy.

1 month: 185.4 lbs; 2 months: 170 lbs, size 16; 3 months: 162.6 lbs, size 14; 4 months: 151.8 lbs; 5 months: 143.2 lbs, size 10; 6 months: 142.4 lbs stalls suck ; 7 months: 131.2 lbs, size 6 - 8; 9 months 130.2, size 6 - no real loss in 2 months -- Think I am done!

I had a band for 1.5 yrs. Had to remove it and gained some weight back. I have had the sleeve and it feels great. Losing again, not feeling hunger and no fills to deal with. My recovery was uneventful. I was never comfortable with the band, felt like it was pulling all the time. The lap band surg. took 15/20 min. longer because they had to deal with scar tissue from the band. I am so far very happy with my decision. I again have hope of success. All the best on your journey.
