    Default Loos[e|ing] vs Los[e|ing]

Two more doctor visits, and I'm finishing up my six month medical requirements. Woohoo! Really, I just have five more weeks to go, then I'll submit my package to Cigna. Can't wait, but still nervous.

I'm looking forward to losing weight.
My friends enjoy walking around Itaewon district looking for loose women with loose vaginas.
I can assure you that I do not have loose morals.
I hope everyone can lose their goal weight.

Loose is used as an adjective while lose/losing is used as a verb.
Reason: HTML didn't render like I expected.

I am by no means perfect, but I see that misused all the time on this blog. If English is not their first language, then cool, I understand.

Might have been very funny if you had stayed away from the vagina reference.

Loose is used as an adjective while lose/losing is used as a verb.
If you are trying to remember how to use which word "Loose" or "Lose" One way is: Lost has one "O" as does the word used for when you lose something. It lost the "O."

No excuses. You CAN do this!

Good luck at trying to overcome your need to perfect others. Everyone on this forum is not an English major and I find that most just want to talk and share their experiences. I believe it would be better if we all just tried to support one another instead of correcting anothers ability to use proper grammer.

Thanks Steph0. You're the champion of this thread, and I appreciate your not taking comments too seriously.

xxtac66: What can I say? South Korea is full of suck. Unless you've been here, it's hard to explain. Don't get me wrong, it's not all bad, but it's far from being good. I've done a fair amount of traveling and living in different countries so I'm entitled to speak from experience. For one, Koreans are xenophobic. Thank god for western culture and our acceptance or toleration for people different from us. We're black, white, yellow, and brown. Secondly, I'm an ogre among evil dwarfs. Has anyone witnessed two seventy year old ajummas duke it out over a subway seat? I have, and it's not pretty. Also, I'm constantly reminded that I'm a fat westerner living in a form over substance society. Lastly, it doesn't matter if I can speak key phrases in perfect Korean. Many will look at me in disbelief and will not respond at what the talking monkey just said.

    Trolls need not reply.
