If you don't eat much and don't exercise you can actually slow your metabolism down. Get moving however you can, gentle walking can be a great start, and see if that doesn't make you a bit more hungry. It doesn't take much. For more info look up Body Bugg online-it checks how many calories you are burning and I find it a godsend.

Maybe you should try adding more protein in your diet that always helps me

I went through the same thing! Dont feel alone! But everyone else is right....get moving. Even if you walk for 20 minutes a day 5 times a week....you will start to notice the weight will come down. It may not be a big drop, but you do have to give your body time to bounce back from surgery. I am almost 11 weeks and I stall for 3 weeks at a time and then boom....6 pounds down. They say it takes your body 4 weeks to adjust to changes in diet/exercise. So track your calories and protein...take your vitamins and calcium. I admit I stopped taking mine at about 8 weeks post-op and it was just because I forgot! It's terrible I know, but maybe that's why I am stalling too. I need to get back on track with those. The stall will pass...just start moving and keep calories low.

Maybe your not eating enough. I find when I add an extra protein shake in or a couple hundred cals a day it gets the weight loss moving again. also try not to weigh yourself daily. I do once a week and hide the scale it can be evil. Good luck it will come off

I experience the same thing every couple of months. I'll stall for a couple of weeks and/or gain for 3-4 pounds. I am an exercise fanatic..5-6 weeks for at least an hour of cardiovascular running, walking or dance video and eat under my allotment of calories per My Fitness Pal. I try to be positive knowing it's temporary and I'll see another great loss soon. Another thing to do is measure yourself every 3-4 weeks, especially during the stalls as it lets you know that it's working, as you see the inches you've lost add up.

I am 17 days post op and was in a stall for about 8 days. I had lost 20lbs prior to surgery and am down 11 lbs since for a total of 31 lbs lost. I was wondering the same thing but it was my "time of the month" so I just attributed it to that since I have always picked up 3-5 lbs from fluid retention in the past. I have been adding different foods this week such as mashed yams, tuna salad, crackers, etc... and the scale is moving again. Sometimes you have to add different foods and up your calories for your body to realize that it's okay to start burning versus storing. Stalls definitely happen.. It's part of the process.... I'm sure that if you add some more calories or add an extra shake in there you will start the losing process again.
