Is there a way to block a user from emailing you?

Sorry, I meant PMing rather than emailing. Thank God this woman doesn't have my email address!

There is this woman who I'm sure is a lovely person but she's very hard to understand and sends me her every thought...stuff that would be more appropriately posted to threads that she references.

I understand we can ignore users but I'd frankly like her ability to PM me blocked.

Possibly this way: go to control panel, hit in my settings, edit ignore list, it will give you a space to add a name to the ignore list. Not sure if it only works for PM only though. Good Luck

Oh hell no, leah. I go looking for you when I don't see you on the boards, girl! This chick writes me every stream of consciousess disconnected thought that makes sense only in her own mind. Maybe I'll just send her this thread, God knows I've tried other tactics.

There is an option to help you with that:

Receive Private Messaging:
- Only from Contacts and Moderators
- From all members
You may limit the receipt of private messages to just moderators and your contacts. Other members who attempt to send messages to you will be told that you have disabled private messaging.

So remove the person from your contacts and you are good to go.
