No clue, I was told not to count calories, just protein and liquid.

Lunch was on the run, and I think I screwed myself out of protein because I thought stewed chicharrones would have more. But noooo :-/

    Thank you, Sandra.

I have been tracking my ketones through urine strips, today is the first day ever it has been this deep color, and I have had close to a gallon of water because of heat and exercise today.

It's too soon to tell, but keeping my calories between 1000 and 1100, and Protein slightly higher than carbs and fat may be key for me for right now.

Like Melissa said, it's a good motivator for her to keep her carb intervals.

    Food is definitely fuel!

    My non scale victory today

They can be, but stewed chicharrones like the ones I ordered are made from pork belly. They were yummy tho!

Pork belly is what bacon is made from, mostly fat, but I agree, oh, so yummy.

I wish someone would eat my belly.

Yesterday I prepared my main meals for the week

    Stir-Fry Vegetable Medley
    IMG_8762.PNG
    IMG_8763.PNG

    Boiled Shredded Chicken Breast
    IMG_8764.PNG
    IMG_8765.PNG

I'm having these two for mainly for lunch for the next five days, and for dinner I will have to change it up, but have another serving of vegetables (approx. 1.5 cups) and another protein. Tonight maybe it will be ham and eggs.

For breakfast today I had my homemade protein shake, i drank half in early am, then other half around 10am. I satisfied me until now (1:30pm). I have been sipping on water in between. I have my circuit training class today at 4:30pm so I will have a cup of MuscleEgg before I head out and have dinner when I return.
    IMG_8761.PNG

Evening snack will be a piece of fruit and some nuts.

Trying to keep my calories at 1000, and keep my complex carbs at minimum, without sacrificing fiber needs this week.

hoping to incorporate a daily veggie smoothie starting this week after groceries...recipes welcomed!

Green drink: 1 apple, 1 citrus fruit (grapefruit or orange), 1 cup of spinach, 1 handful of parsley

Water and ice. Can add a bit of something to sweeten it a little, if you want, but it's good like it is. This'll make about 6 cups depending on how much water and ice you use.

I've been reading this thread for awhile for ideas, and now that I can eat (mushy foods), I figured I'd add my menu for today:

    - Breakfast: poached egg, creamed spinach and mushed corned beef hash
    - Lunch: 2 oz tuna salad with a teaspoon of pastina and a few shreds of cheese (sort of like a weight loss version of tuna mac)
    - snacks: I mixed chocolate whey powder into a coffee yogurt and made a thick mousse - hoping to be able to eat some for extra protein today.
    - dinner: refried beans blended with canned chicken and a laughing cow cheese triangle

Dinner might end up being on the go if I'm not hungry enough to eat after work...I'm a little nervous since I just started eating again last night, but there is a small diner near where we are going out, so I can either order more poached eggs or tuna or even just get soup.
