Hey Gayle, I add the Quinoa to my chili and almost everything else that I eat because it add a great deal of protein.
I love advice so, no need to butt out!

Quinoa is like rice a whole grain that has very little taste. You can read more about it here:

I had a blueberry and banana protein shake for breakfast.

Lunch was some chicken salad made with canned chicken, mayo and a boiled egg.

Snack was a sugar free popsicle.

Dinner???? Need about 30 more grams of protien, so it may be another shake.

Today was unorthodox in that I didn't really have 3 meals, I had lots of snacks b/c I was exercising and then too tired to do more than eat food that was already prepared. So this is all very loose:

    1 c. decaf tea 1/2 c. milk
1 cheese stick, 2 crackers (to prepare stomach for ibu)

    While walking:
massive amounts of water followed by 2 cheese sticks,

    After walk:

    More massive amount of water
Atkins peanut butter fudge granola-oh so good!
    1/2 c. Greek yogurt

Later snack: Tea 1/2 c. lowfat ygurt

    Later

    1/2 c. cottage cheese

    Later

    2 cheese sticks
    1/2 c. cabbage

    Now: Just finished some watermelon.

You can stick a fork in me, I'se done except I'll have some more tea later.

Feelin' good Dee. Got a little itchy yesterday after being outside in the afternoon/evening Saturday for a get together (it was 92 degrees and super high humidity here Saturday), so I am sure the heat/humidity bothered my mostly-healed rash patches. Luckily it cooled down and I feel mostly normal today

I'm glad to hear you are healing Lee. You have had a rough time of it. I'm feening for the chilpolte almonds.

Gayle, wishing you a great school year. My retired husband put in 34 yrs teaching and coaching at our high school. He taught English for 5 yrs before he switched to PE. He got tired of all the grading. What do you teach?

SS are you eating canned mackerel? I keep wondering about this.

    Today is Shake Monday.

Oh, God, Monday is bad enough w/out making it Shake Monday! Or do you like your shakes?

And yeah, SS, been wondering about your fishy meals-for health, for protein, or taste? All of the above? I admire it, I just couldn't stick to it. I only have a few fish I can eat now b/c of my sleeve disagreeing w/ 2 of my regular go tos (Thank God it likes shellfish!) and others I just got burnt out w/ last time I dieted.

    ETA

Glad to hear you're doing better, lee, life is unbearable w/ itching and NO exercise! I do it just as much for my mind as my body/caloric burn yadda yadda.

That explains a LOT. Sushi grade fish is delicious! I've never had mackerel, though. I usually get shellfish (none of the kind where they put mayo sauce on, yuck!) salmon (fresh or smoked, plus salmon skin), unagi and I think that's it. I'm probably forgetting some. Sushi is perfect food for sleevers. I'll get sashimi, though, was told by Dr. not to eat rice.
