Liquids pass through but it's the quick drinking that seems to get us. We can't gulp like we used to. Don't get worried though. Just post surgery your body will fully inform you that it would like you to kindly slow down. Your new tummy doesn't whisper it's desire....it is more like a roar...you WILL hear it!! LOL in the meantime best to sip, sip, sip.
God gave us people to love and things to use, not things to love and people to use.

Thanks again for all of your help. I found the Isopure Zero Carb Clear and it has been a lifesaver. I'm also using Slim Fast high protein powder for shakes. This is day 6 of my liquid diet and I'm okay -- I'm a bit tired -- but I'm okay. Thanks for helping me through it

Has anyone here tried Herbalife Shakes? YUMMO!! They taste like ice cream!! They are amazing and there are hundreds of great recipes. I use extra protein in my shake to get to 110 grams of protein a day (I am on the preop diet, surgery in 3 weeks). I am a distibutor for Herbalife so I have access to all of these products so it makes it very convenient. Let me know if I can help anyone here. It's been a life saver for me!
