getting nervous

I am scheduled for gastric sleeve on March 21 and I am starting to get nervous, Will be at Disney World with family this week so maybe it will take my mind off it. I am worried about getting all my proteins in espicially since I don't like the way some of that stuff taste sometimes. I had all my pre-op test done. See my primary doctor on the 14 and surgeon on the 16. The nutrionist was very helpful. I am from Louisiana. If anyone has any tricks about the good tasting protein drinks AI would like any information. Thanks

Just think of the protein shots as your "medicine" for those first couple weeks after surgery. Once you move from a liquid diet to mushy and then soft foods and then regular foods, it gets much easier to get your required protein. Remember that you can make jello using the Isopure or Cytomax fruit-flavored liquid protein drinks...somehow, it was much easier for me to get those down when they were jello!
