Well, after a long break, I started back with my personal trainer. I wanted to start back in February, but ended up with influenza B, so that kind of blew that out of the water. I got back from Las Vegas last night, so I figured my first day back would be a great day to start on a high protein, low carb diet again, and head back to the gym.
Now? I'm dead...just....jello muscles. It felt good, but it feels better to be home! I'm on spring break this week, and only picked up 2 shifts at the hospital, so I plan on getting out and enjoying my time off work. I need to teach my new puppy how to walk on the lease, too!
And to top off the weekend - I'm running/walking a 5K on Saturday! It's good to be back in the saddle.
But the VERY BEST PART!? I actually LOST WEIGHT when I was on vacation! This morning, I was 0.4 lbs down, but am still pretty puffy from the flight and the alcohol/salt I ate in Vegas. Hopefully, once I flush all that water weight out, I'll be down about 3 lbs. That would be wonderful - I mean, who loses weight on vacation? SLEEVERS!
