    Default Starting to get nervous

My surgery is finally scheduled for March 23 and on Monday I start the 2 week pre-surgery diet and feel as though I will not make it. My husband and I have sat down with the paper I was given at the doctor's office and have taken notes and read and re-read everything. I am very emotional and everything makes me cry. I feel as though I won't make it in the next 2 weeks. Any suggestions as to what I should do to lift my spirits?

Also, within these 2 weeks, can I drink coffee?

I am also scheduled for the 23rd. I don't have to start my diet till 10 days before, but I have been dieting early just to get use to the change. I went ahead and just gave up the caffeine, coffee and all. They say it stimulates hunger, so I didn't want the challenge. Decaf isn't too bad!?! Best of luck.

You can all do it...I have faith! The end result is well worth what you'll be going through for the next couple of weeks. Wait until you start buying smaller clothes and getting compliments every day. Wait until you look in the mirror and notice that you have a jawline and cheekbones! After your surgery you won't feel hungry for quite some time...it was about 5 or 6 weeks before I started feeling hungry, and then only just before meals and I was satisfied and full so very fast with so little food! This tool is amazing, and it gets easier every day. I am still amazed at how little food it takes to fill me up!
