i WAS SLEEVED ON 12/20/11..i AM STILL EXPERIENCEING A LOT OF GAS ESP AFTER I EAT OR DURING DRINKING. I DO THE REQUISITE CHEWING ETC, BUT IM STARTING TO FEEL LIKE A LONGSHOREMAN LOL..ANY SUGGESTIONS???
GasX helps me.... But then again...I live in a house full of men...so they've been known to have farting contest....lately I win..lol
The only time I have trouble with burping is when I drink something too fast---as for the other end---I notice that when I get up in the morning I tend to have gas---but I think that is a good thing--- I am no Dr or nurse, but I think that means that everything is moving through the body the way it is supposed to???? Good luck with that---- I do remember early on if I did experience any I would walk and walk and walk and that seemed to make it move. Blessings-Connie
I still have deep hiccups to this day...10 months out..
Unit 35,
Hi. I know what you mean about gas, I have it too. I am about 4 months out now, and it hasn't improved, in fact, it is a bit worse. I saw a Gastroenterologist who recommended GasX with every meal. It is really just Simethicone, and that is available generically for a few bucks a box. I have these burps form in my stomach, I can hear and feel the air in there. And then the burp rises, but it never comes out! Like, it gets "stuck" somewhere between my stomach and my mouth, and it is a horrible feeling. Painful. I don't take the Simethicone three times a day, but I do take one in the morning. It seems to help my meds and vitamins stay down, too, as I can still vomit them up. And, I take one at night before bed so I can get some sleep. Try it, it might work for you too, and end that discomfort. Once I take it, the burps find their way out, one way or another!
