I leave Thurs at 4:30 am for NYC through Sunday. I plan to weight tomorrow morning and then again Monday after I get back. I am curious how the trip will affect my weight loss. I can see it going either way honestly.

3 days ill in the hosp, came home day 4. Rested 2 days @ home, last 2 days 45 min walks before feeling tired, so about 75% of normal.

Congrats on your surgery Dee. When I was 1 week out I was still at my preop weight because I put on so much friggen weight with surgery.

216! 12 lbs. in 2 weeks not as slow as I'd figured, but the last week was 2 lbs., which is about right.

I'm up and down daily. I can't see myself making March goal. Oh well, April is another month. I really think the last lbs are going to be a bitch to get off.

Yeah, I've often heard that about the last few pounds. Just think for a second where you are, though, and enjoy it. You'll get there b/c of the sleeve, but I've read you before saying you thought you'd you'd never be where you are now!


I've been walking 45 minutes per day, want to push it but know it's not wise w/ my hip/knee issues. My RMR is actually 200 calories less per day than it usually is, but that's probably b/c I'm eating less. As I lose more weight and get stronger/my stomach expands I'll be able to eat more. Right now I enjoy the novelty of eating 500 calories a day! I'm getting 60 grams of protein, though.

OK Im in.. Starting weight 229 I would like to be at 220 by the end of March. So that is it 9lbs and Ill be happy as a pig in poop. :-)

Update, well so far only a 5 lb loss for March. I missed it by 4 lbs. I would be unhappy but I cant help but think I LOST 5LBS!!!!!!! wow these last 40 lbs are gonna take forever to get off... That's OK I guess, at least what I am losing is actually gone forever... Hows everyone else doing?
