Tried Hypnosis?

Hey just wondering if anyone tried hypnosis for weight loss before getting sleeved. I guess if it had worked you wouldn’t need the sleeve. But has anyone experienced losing weight, or know someone that did it through hypnosis? Just something I've been wondering.

Yes, I tried it about 20 yrs ago. I'm not sure I let myself go all the way under, as no one has been able to hypnotize me since so I might not be a good representative but it did nothing for me. I remember that they gave all kinds of suggestions like if I were to crave cake I'd see ants crawling out of it. Kind of glad I was still aware because it's not the kind of thing I'd want in my subconscious mind anyway.
I think I'd try if it were to boost my self confidence and other positive re-enforcement suggestions like "you will notice you feel best when you eat lots of protein" (which I know anyway) but I'd want to know what they were going to say first.

I was always afraid the hypnotist would ask me to rob a bank and I would do it. Trust issues...
