Day four after surgery

My name is Shane and im new to this. I had my surgery on Valentines day and am just on liquids. Just thought i would say hello and maybe pick up some good tips.

Good for you, as im excited as well. Im wondering how long the nauseous feeling stays and my moods are all over the place. Very excited though

I had mood issues while I was on the morphine, but once I switched mess my mood was mellow. My nausea is better but the air in my stomach gets excruciating. I was also given a dissolveabletablet for nausea if I needed it. Hard to get the water in like I should.

I had my surgery on the 16th and my nausea is better already. I was also given something to take for nausea that u put under ur tongue as needed but today i have been fine. good luck to u

It gets better I promise. BUT I stilll have pain in my stomach when I eat thicker foods like chicken. Have to chew alot and still most times have stomach pain for 45 minutes or so. I had my sleeve on Dec 9th. I am now eating about 600-800 cal a day. Drinking is still a struggle.

To fight the nausea I remembered I had some wrist bands I had in my overnight kit. They are used for motion sickness and to fight nausea during pregnancy. They seemed to really help, they are just gray bands with a small marble you place on the inside of your wrist that seperates the medial nerve to reduce the sickness.
