How Much Should I Purchase??

I understand everybody is different....

I just need an idea of how much of the protein drinks to buy. I have to order most everything in, so just trying to get an idea of what volumes people went through with their protein drinks their first month. I am fussy and picky, so 'over-ordered' in case I don't like 50% of them.

This is what I have ordered so far:
2 lb Syntrax Nectar Twisted Cherry pdr
2 lb Isopure unflavored pdr
2 lb Syntrax Cookies & Cream pdr
2 lb Syntrax Vanilla Bean pdr
12 Isopure Cocotein RTD
12 pk Syntrax Nectar to-go pouches

So it looks like that works out to about 45 days worth, if I like and will drink everything (fat chance, lol.)

This is what I have set to ship at the end of the month:
2 lb Syntrax Cookies & Cream pdr
2 lb Syntrax Vanilla Bean pdr
2 lb Syntrax Fuzzy Navel pdr
2 lb Syntrax Apple Ecstacy pdr
2 lb Syntrax Roadside Lemonade pdr

This should be plenty unless I hate everything, right? Thanks in advance!!

I would wait a beat. I ordered way too much and my taste buds ended up changing. Money right into the trash. Get samples and start from that point.

lol...i think i have done the same thing! i hate to not be prepared. i have test tasted all. where is your cream of chicken soup? lol hey also i got the cuisinart invidual mixer makes all the difference in the world for the protein shakes because it makes it into a icey cream shake from DQ! so vanilla couple strawberries (when you can) ice you gat a great strawberry shake. or use coconut water with the vanilla protein and dash pinapple extrcact you got a pina colada! but i got mine on amazon $65got good deal, with 4 shake maker glaqsses. look under bullet mixers in amazon

Order less than you think you need. Order in small quantities. The advice above about taste buds changing is true. You might be able to get by with just the unflavored and the vanilla. You can always add fruit when allowed for variety. I am beginning to think I will never use all I ordered. I too have a need to be prepared so I understand your thoughts. It just turned out that I didn't need so much after all. Wishing you all the best!

The Vitamin Shoppe ships free same day so I just wait till im near the bottom and order the next one. Syntrax is amazing..MMMmmm

i bought a lot of ready to drink shakes in an attempt to be prepared (i hate being unprepared). i have to force myself to drink my shakes because, like others have said, my taste buds changed! the same shakes i loved (and tolerated lol) are so unbearable to consume now

Sounds like you are well prepared. I STILL have protein powder from when I had my surgery, a year ago this month. If there is anyway for you to hold off I would. Like people have said, what tastes really good now, you may not tolerate it post surgery.

I would order enough for your pre op diet if you are supposed to and about 2 weeks worth because as others have said, your taste buds change AND you get VERY tired of protein shakes. I ordered just what my bariatric clinic mandates and I still have a lot leftover. If anyone likes or wants to try BetterMD shakes I'd be happy to send them some. They really were delicious.
