I haven't posted a thread in a bit so thought I'd update. Y'all have been great when I whined or asked all my questions and I love all my fellow sleevers! Thank you!

I hit ONEderland yesterday and can feel goal getting so much closer. I am about 6 1/2 months out and really loving my Sleeve. For those of you just post-op or even just a couple of weeks/months out, know that life really does get so much better. My surgeon told me I would feel really good at 6 months out and he was so right.

So here are a few pics. The first one is one that shows what I looked like the night before surgery and then after about 70+ lbs. were gone. The last one is me today!

I have for to ask how have u lost that much in 6 months. The way I calculated my weightloss on how its moving I would be at my goal at almost a year out and that is with losing 17 pounds prior to surgey.

Omg girl! You look like a completely diferent person. Rocking those jeans, thank yo so much for the inspiration. I really need it because I'm having a hard time getting my liquids and protein in and I'm staring to see that it affects the weight loss tremendously. I hope and wish that I can be like you when I reach 6 months. I can't wait to start exercising more intensely. Thanks for the pictures loved them. By the way I'm 9 days out.

Lee Ann, honestly I have no secrets. My diary on MFP is open to see if you are my friend on there and I put everything in. Even my mishap days. I exercise my booty off (literally,lol) and do my protein and fluids. I have a bad habit of snacking at night but I track it and make it work for me. I still drink a lot of protein shakes, love my Syntrax nectar. I am in my 40's and know that even with the Sleeve, my metabolism is naturally slowing down so trying to keep that up! My son and I did a lot of activities over the summer and that helped. He loves to walk/run with me and now I can do it! Other than that, no meds or anything like that, I swear!

Julie I have NO idea what size bougie they used, I keep meaning to ask. I'm going to ask at my next appt. as I am curious too. I can tolerate plenty of fluids and probably about 4 oz of solid food.

WE will all get there, some ways different than others but we WILL get there!

Thanks for the inspiration Tana! What is your MFP user name? Can I add you? I would love to have the inspiration!! I'm almost 9 months out. I have lost 87 pounds and have been stuck in a stall. I want to be at 100lbs by my one year anniversary. I too am in my 40's so my weight loss has been slow. I have to get there!
