I add Miralax to my morning protein shakes a couple of days per week and keeps me going :) At least before I got pregnant I needed it, but now it seems I have regulated which I am eternally thankful...
I have a post almost just like this :)
I cut my hair short too when it started to thin and celebrated the day when I weighed less than my hubby :)
Congratulations :)
Have you called your surgeon's office? I only got sick if I ate too much or too quickly so I learned my lesson there. I would call your doctor and make sure that everything is ok.
MY tailbone hurts frequently as there is nothing left there to protect it! And, if I go too long without eating, I burp. I guess it's my little tummy trying to tell me it's empty :)
Congratulations!!
Couldn't agree more! I have the opposite problem before surgery and had never been constipated before in my life until post op. There is no feeling quite like it and I will do most anything to avoid...
I sill add Miralax to my protein shakes every couple of days. It has been a life saver for me! But please do check with your dr first as they may have other recommendations. Mine sent me home from...
Have you tried some of the premade shakes that are dairy free? I use Premier Protein premade shakes. Before surgery, I went too often and took fiber capsules to help regulate me, after surgery I...
I eat brown rice about once a week and have no issues.
Congratulations!!!
Congratulations! I'm working on having a yard sale to get rid of my old plus size clothes... Even the clothes I bought last summer are all too big this year! It's so expensive to replace your entire...
I'm almost 1 1/2 year out, and there is no food that is off limits to me per my surgeon's office. I have chosen to limit my carbs, but that was my decision not theirs. I don't crave the same foods I...
Yep, pure protein bars and by far my favorite. Chocolate caramel, chocolate peanut butter and strawberry yogurt are my favorites.
I like plain water, and I have never cared for Crystal Light. I do like Country Time Lemonade... However, I have found something at Costco that I love! It's called EcoDrink. It's vitamins and...
Mine was glue, no drains. I think it depends on where you have it done- US vs Mexico and then it just depends on your specific doctor.
I also have BC/BC and needed the 6 months of supervised weight loss. What I was told was that I was not required to actually lose any weight but I absolutely could not gain any weight. I did lose...
Stacydev is absolutely right this is your journey and no one else's. There are others that had surgery when I did and they have lost more than me in a shorter timer frame- I am happy for them but my...
I took 3 weeks off. I have rheumatoid arthritis and it flared up at 1 week post op and had to coordinate with my surgeon as well as my rheumatologist on what I could take. I was glad for the...
The instructions I was given post op was to only introduce 1 food at a time so that if something didn't agree with me, I knew exactly what it was. In your case, was it the meat, broccoli or gravy...
I take it just once per day and about every 2 or 3 days. I took it everyday for about a week and my stool was getting too loose and borderline diarrhea so I cut back to every few days and so far that...
1- Your tummy will only hold 4-6oz no matter if you stop drinking 30 minutes before eating or an hour before eating.
2- Have you tried Miralax? I went from having chronic diarrhea before surgery to...
I like premier protein shakes for premade shakes. 30 grams of protein for 160 calories and 4 grams of sugar. For protein powders, I like the GNC go lean 25 but made with milk not water. You can use...
Ok, I am just over 1 year post op.
Your new tummy is very tiny and at it's smallest right after surgery. It will stretch a little over time, but if you follow your surgical guidelines, it will...
Please go see your GYN... Your health is not something to take the "wait and see" approach with... Something may seen minor and end up being more serious, and the same is true in the other direction...
