I think the ability to tolerate carbonated beverages varies person to person. For me, carbonation doesn’t agree with me so I don’t drink it. The only way to know is try it.

You might want to check if your surgeon has support group meetings. Some hospitals offer bariatric support group meetings
I’m guessing you aren’t eating enough regular food. 800 calories at 3 months out seems a bit low. Get your fluids in and increase your calories some and see if that helps
Or you could show them a picture of a cranberry
Rojo is red and agrio is sour so agrio arandano rojo. I’m just guessing here
Did you try arandano agrio or or arandano rojo?
Great job Christie...on to year two and beyond
Being three years out, I think the surgery was relatively easy, but I had no complications and followed the food progression plan as instructed and was ready to make a lifestyle change. I was well...
Great job Jan. At times I have similar thoughts about the new, slimmer me. Especially when it comes to chairs. I still look at a chair checking to see if it’s strong enough to support my weight. ...
Breakfast can be anything. Mine is eggs and some leftover protein (steak, bacon). Cream of wheat gives you iron and fiber, add some peanut butter and you have fat and protein.
I don't think regain is inevitable. Plenty of folks on this forum lost their excess weight and kept it off. For me it was changing my way of thinking about food and being active. It's been three...
my opinion, if what you're doing isn't working (i.e. stall) change what you're doing. Track your food to see exactly how much protein you're getting, drink more water, change exercise routine,...
Great job Lori. It's a great feeling to not be the heaviest person in the room
Go to www.therapydogs.com for an overview of the program. They also have a video of an actual test. It's such a rewarding experience. After a patient finished petting my dog, a caretaker told me...
It's been three years (plus few days) since I had my surgery. To say this has been a life changing event is an understatement. I have so much more energy since losing the excess weight. I still...
Congrats Sraebaer you've done great, changed your life and now get to enjoy your retirement being fit and healthy. Being outdoors is literally a breath of fresh air and you have been able to enjoy...
Those are some great parks to hike and explore. Enjoy your trip
I use quest bars but those are not a daily thing. An easy out the door breakfast hard boiled eggs and yogurt.
Great job Paul!!! You've done a fantastic job and deserve all the things you accomplished. I'm guessing being off those medications is a huge NSV.
Great job Kevin. I agree it's wonderful to shop at n the regular sized clothes department.
Robert,
What a great story and the benefits of taking care of yourself, allowed you to take care of other folks in their time of need. These are the best non-scale victories. Great job ;)
What food do you eat on a typical day? Try to eat real protein instead of the bars (eggs, turkey, chicken, tuna, etc). I started walking the day after surgery and haven't looked back.
A serving of Genepro is 15 grams but supposedly that same serving size has 30 grams of protein. If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is.
Did your blood work indicate you needed the vitamins you're taking? You may only need the multi-vitamin. I've had kidney stones and the most important thing for me was to drink more water, not...
You could try adding unflavored protein powder to broth
