It does take a long time for your body to heal. You had major surgery. The incisions may be all healed but your insides are still healing. I was a very slow loser after my sleeve. I started eating...
I agree, you are not to old. I was 58 when I had mine and I had no problems what so ever. I wish I had done it years ago. My doctor was all for me getting it but my insurance wouldt cover it so I...
You have nothing to be afraid of. My sleeve was about 19 months ago and my experience was great. I had my surgery on a Wednesday and was back at work on Monday. I had no pain at all, the only thing I...

My Sleeve was done 19 months ago and I have lost about 100 lbs. I am type II diabetic and before I was taking 2000 mg of Metformin and 100 units of insulin daily. Within a couple of months I was...
I finally made my goal weight but it took me 19 months to get here. But 100 lbs are gone. I guess maybe watching what I ate and maybe throwing in some exercise now and then would have made it go...
I eat a bowl of berries, blackberries or blueberries, and the next morning everything breaks loose. All natural.
I did a lot of research on band vs sleeve before I decided on the sleeve. My sister and niece both had the band 2 years ago and both have lost over 100 pounds and are still happy with it. When they...
I didnt drink a lot of soda, but as you probably guessed by my avatar, I love beer. (loved) The carbonation will make you uncomfortable immediately. The comfortableness last a lot longer than the...

My weight fluctuates 5 pounds constantly depending on my activity and eating. It can change 5 pounds in one day between morning and night.
I dont pay any attention to it as long as it gradually...
I am by no means a doctor or pretend to know what I'm talking about, but I dont think a day either way is going to matter.
Your body is going through some major healing inside and you certainly dont...
I'm down by St Louis
If you do what your supposed to before and after surgery, the journey may not be as long as you think.
I'm a bad example, but after about 7 months I am down 65 pounds and I dont exercise and dont...
I had the same feelings, before I started researching it, if someone had suggested that I go to mexico for surgery I would have thought they were crazy.
But then after fighting with my insurance...
I had my surgery on Wed morning, was released on Thursday morning, spent 2 days at hotel and then home on Saturday and back to work on Monday.
I had no complications and very little pain.
I hope it goes well with the insurance company. I jumped through hoops for mine for 2 years tryig to get it and finally gave up and went to mexico and did it myself.
I dont know what it is that you can eat so much more of the oatmeal that other things. I can eat one pouch but no more, but I am 6 months post op. I agree about eating re-fried beans, for some...
Listen to your body. it will tell you when you've had enough, but remember to eat slowly.
You will quickly learn how to interpet what your new stomach is telling you and when to stop. I have never...

I went on a 7 day cruise at 6 weeks post op with no problems at all.
I've had several stress tests and I hate them. The chemical induced ones are somewhat easier but they still wear you out.
But cheer up, it will be worth it.
I'm 58 and love my new stomach
I had my surgery on a Wednesday and went back to work the following Monday, no problems.
