Nice job. Congratulations and don't give up. Just remember that even if it's only a pound that you lose it one pound closer to your goal.
Going through the same thing at just under 2 years post op. I've decided to get back to basics and go to the nutritionist more often and most importantly be honest about why I'm gaining.
I also...
It's been quite a while since I've posted for reasons that I'm sure many can relate. It has been exactly 1 year and 10 months today since I had Gastric Sleeve surgery. I started out at 284 lbs and in...

I have been giving all my clothes to Goodwill. I have only kept one outfit and that was to show the before and after as I continue on my journey. Other than that as soon as they don't fit anymore,...

Thank you for sharing with us. It's great to hear from someone who has been able to maintain so many years after surgery. Congratulations on your MPA.Best wishes to you in the job search and in all...
Nice job Greg! Sometimes I think it's hard to be honest when you've had surgery because with some people you never know how they are going to react. However, when you are speaking to a group such as...

You are right the protein drinks, etc. taste horrible but just keep thinking about your goal and that will help you get through. Keep staying focused and you will do great.
I remember how bad...
The one thing I really miss is the enjoyment my husband and I always shared when eating out on Friday nights. It's been a tradition for years for us to go out to dinner after a long work week....
For over 15 years I have weighed over 200 lbs and last summer when I began my journey toward WLS I had reached almost 300 lbs. Prior to making that decision, I felt so trapped in my fat body that I...
It took me 2 years to decide to have the surgery. As everyone else has said it is a very personal decision. I did a lot of research and followed a lot of blogs and also followed many people on...
After surgery I had a really hard time drinking protein shakes made with powder. I found that the pre-made protein drinks were much better. The other thing that was helpful was the Atkins protein...
I had my surgery on 12/20/16 and had a very difficult weekend this past week. It seemed like I had no idea what to eat and everything that I decided on made my stomach feel horrible. I felt very...
Glad the surgery went well. Best of luck to you.
I have been following this forum since I started my journey towards surgery in July 2016. I had my surgery on December 20, 2016 and it's taken me this long to become part of the forum. I'm finding...
