I'm just shy of a month since my surgery. I personally have not had any problem with water. I am getting between 80 -100oz a day. It just takes me longer than it used to.

You've got this. You'll do great. I'm feeling great and 3 days post-op. Just remember after to sip liquids and walk.

Not that I have had failure, but I did have kidney cancer 5 years ago and had my right kidney removed. My nephrologist is all for the surgery as having the weight off should improve my kidney...

Good luck on your journey. I had quite a few questions as well when I started mine and my surgeon was very open and patient to answer all of them.

My surgeon doesn't require it, thankfully. I just have to fast the day before the surgery.
