Thanks - I only lost about 30 lbs total since October 2016...now I'm seeing the number slowly going back up...feels like a waste. I need to figure out how/where to fit exercise and healthy foods in...
I get it... I guess I meant it's bizarre just in that in the past I could eat tons of everything, but now I can only eat a few bites of what I'm supposed to eat (the good stuff), but can eat lots of...
It's bizarre. I eat chicken or turkey and I'm super full in a few bites. Other things I can eat way more than I should be able to.
On the bright side, I've just entered onederland! :)
Hey, slow and steady wins the race, right?! (at least that's what I keep telling myself lol)
I haven't had trouble eating anything, except carby things make me full very quickly...so I've been...
I am definitely having trouble eating carbs - which is a very good thing (even if it makes me a little sad). The slider foods is true for me - I can eat a lot of the things that aren't so great,...
Like I said, take everything out of the equation except for eating less than I used to...even if everything else stayed the same, I should still be losing something, based on eating less alone...
I'm not counting. Just trying to do low carbs. Exercise is just walking when I can... I'm working a ton of overtime right now, so no time until January.
Sure. 231 at August pre-op visit. 222 day of surgery (10/7). 217 out of hospital. 213-214 now.
Liquids - minimum of 70 oz/day.
Eating everything...mostly protein first. Try to eat...
Just thought I'd check to see if anyone is still around from this thread. I'm not losing, so I'm starting to look around and see if it's just me, or if others have experienced this, too.
I am SO beyond frustrated at this point. I don't even understand. Take everything out of the equation except the fact that I'm eating less than I was...that alone should equal weight loss, even if...
Oh, that stinks! Maybe you can break a bone in a few months, so you can try the menu? LOL. :p
Yep, that was my experience, too! :)
I've only lost a total of about 17 lbs since my August weigh-in. I'm at 36 days post-op (surgery 10/7). Can you give me an idea of what you are eating daily? I'm trying to get at least 60 protein in...
I'm at my 1 month post-op mark - haven't lost any more weight since about 1-2 weeks post-op...SO frustrating. I wish I knew how much weight to lose and when. I know everyone's bodies are different,...
You'll do great! Just walk and sip water. The gas took a while to get out of my system completely...
I would say you probably don't want to travel during the first month or so after surgery - but after that, I think you'd be fine (just eating less!) - good luck! :)
This is a fantastic post! Thanks so much! I'll start digging. :)
I'm trying not to weigh myself because a bunch of people told me to stop obsessing...so I'm not sure. :)
I definitely feel like I can eat more than I should be able to - but it's probably only when I'm eating less protein type things, so I guess I really need to try harder to pack in the protein and the...
I think I should probably drink more water, even though I am drinking a decent amount. I am trying to focus on protein, but there have been moments where I felt like I needed to try eating some of...
Oh wow, I had no idea! Interesting question for my next doc visit...
I'm happy...but freaked out...I haven't had a single issue, other than some extra heartburn, with anything I've eaten. I feel hungry, though I do fill up faster than I used to - but I can still eat...
Congratulations!!! :)
LOL! I'm sorry your butt deflated! ;)
So exciting! Good luck! :)
