Im at a stand still!!! I called my insurance (pomco) they are saying they dont even have my claim on file!! I call my surgeons office and ask them what's going on...why pomco is telling me they dont have anything on file...and they say we sent it to them august 29th and "we'll resubmit it today (sept 7th)" so i look for my claim online and still...nothing!!! is this some kind of joke? am i not approved? what are they waiting for? i'm so upset because this is just unprofessional on both

I got a letter in the mail from my surgeons office giving me a date for my surgery. October 2 2012. He is reserving my spot in the OR for that date. This is all pending approval of my insurance. He just wanted to at least give me the date. Anyone else's surgeon gave them a date before knowing 100% about your insurance? Should I take this as a good sign? I'm pretty excited none the less. Just wish I had more answers ... what do you guys think?

On the 26th I had my appointment at my bariatric surgeon's office and when I was weighed I lost enough to where they submitted everything to insurance! Now it's just the waiting and praying game. So I can add sleep apnea to my list which already consists of pcos, acid reflux, hernia, high cholesterol and ankle joint pain. I had my sleep apnea test on June 26. I need to lose 5 lbs next month!! Originally it was supposed to be 8lbs, but my surgeons office wants me to give them 5 more pounds and then at my next appointment next month, they plan on submitting everything to insurance! So pressures definitely on! I'm so happy, excited and a little nervous because I hope I can drop the 5lbs. Sleep apnea test is also this Friday. I will keep everyone posted
