Well it's been a lil bit since I posted anything, work is crazy like always! I am down 26lbs from the date of surgery. Everything is going so great and I'm feeling fantastic! Had my 1 month follow up last week and my surgeon is extremely happy since I am eating all most normal foods with no nausea or vomiting and getting full when I am supposed to. He said to keep it under 1000 calories a day and most of the time I don't even hit that. I did have a few stalls for a couple days almost a week

So it's been a week since I posted last. I started trying real food this past weekend as told by my surgeon to. Some things go down better than others. Chicken Breast can actually cause me pain sometimes but not in my stomach in my upper back! It's crazy when something doesn't agree with me it's my back that hurts...did anyone else have that!? It can be pretty painful. My homemade chili...omg holy hell that didn'g go down ok I think it was too spicy! Won't be touching that again for a couple

The only problem that is a major issue is my blood sugar keeps dropping really low in the evening and obviously can not eat much substance to get it up enough. I've been living on orange juice which means those damn freaking calories for no reason...even when I'm not hungry and that's

Feeling Great! It's day 9 and I couldn't be happier already! The only issue I have had was my drain really started to hurt on Wed and I was supposed to get it out Thurs morning. It got so bad by Wed night I called my surgeon and told him about the pain and this urine colored liquid coming out of the drain now, he said that was completely normal and great to see, it meant my body was healing quickly and pushing the drain out because it didn't need it anymore! Which healing was always a concern

Made it through surgery with flying colors...thank you for all the prayers! Rough night sleeping from severe pain in my back and a very sore throat. I had some nausea but they gave me meds to help. Had my leak test and passed, it felt so good to get up and walk, which helped the gas pains. The only thing I'm aggravated about is my blood sugars. They have been high since the surgery and I'm on an insulin pump but the nurses wouldn't let me hook it back up telling me they were monitoring me.
