Yeah - I was glad to be able to get in quick and just get it over with. I still had a few stress moments waiting just 10 days. If I'd had to wait as long as you are, I probably would've talked myself out of it!! :-) You'll be fine. It really does hit you every now and then though (even after surgery) about just how drastic a step this is. When that happens - go back and read the stories of some of the folks who are on this site and look at their before and after photos. NONE of them are sorry they did it :-) I bet you're not either when you're nearly 100 lbs lighter!

Ha! I guess I am lucky I hide it well... It's all in my thighs to be honest I haven't worn shorts in YEARS! I am only 5'3'' too.....

Hi. I actually moved from the Houston area and we are in Dallas. I didn't have lap band. I had the gastric sleeve. I went to Dr. Mario Almanza in Mexico. If you are wanting the lap band, he also does that. However, for the best results, I would tell you to do the sleeve. You may use me as a reference. I can tell you that it will be the best decision you ever made. I feel so great and I am in a size 2 now down from a size 18W. My name is Wendy Jasper-Martinez.
