Hi all! Haven't been on in a long time, as life has just been crazy good! I am 4 pounds from onederland! Can't believe that this one decision has changed my life so drastically. Food no longer runs my life and social life! I have met an amazing man and after ten years of hiding behind my fat, am enjoying going out and feel beautiful on his arm. For the first time ever, I met his family and friends and didn't worry about what they said! I'm confident, happy, and so glad I was sleeved. If
I'm feeling very negative today! I'm almost as 4 months out and I started working out (cardio and stomach exercises only) about 4 weeks ago. Since I started working out and tracking my food on myfitnesspal I haven't lost a single pound! So frustrating and I am feeling like the window to lose the weight is closing on me and I still have 50 pounds to go!! I did all protein last week and worked out very hard and still not a drop in weight... any other suggestions to get out of this month long
I'm coming up on 3 months post surgery, and after reading all the posts about hair coming out in handfuls at 3 months, I am freaking out! Does everyone lose HAIR? how much? I have pretty thin hair to begin with, but it is finally long and I don't want to be bald! I also have a black tie formal event on Feb 25 and I've been looking forward to looking beautiful in my dress, but I won't with big clumps of hair missing! I eat mostly protein and take vitamins. Please someone put my mind at ease!!!
Haven't really looked at my profile picture since I started on this website, and this exciting journey! Thought it was time to update it, and show off a little. After all... we all should be proud of ourselves right?? LOL About 1/2 way to my goal in such a short time. I'm experiencing a stall right now, and I know it will pass, but this sure helps to see how far I've come. Keep going everyone, and stay positive! So thankful for all your posts, and even though I don't post very often I read
I was sleeved November 7th, so between the week pre-op diet and the sleeve, I have hit 50 pounds in what feels like record time! This is by far the best thing I ever could have done. If there is anyone out there, on the fence, don't be! I am a single mom, and was scared to death. I even wrote my daughter a goodbye letter just in case I didn't come back from Mexico!
I am a little worried, that now that I'm used to the scale going lower every week, it will stop before I'm ready
