Hi everyone in the Gastric Sleeve Blog. I hope everyone is doing well and staying with their journeys. Its not easy as it has been a year and 2 months post op for myself. I am now under 300 pounds. Its been 20 years since I have been at this weight which is hard to believe I am here and living it. I love it though. Life is getting better through my journey to my goal which is less than 75 lbs away. I was over 200 pounds when I started and to have that one digit drop off is just amazing. I know many of you who are at the same area of your life like myself are probably thinking the same thing. So to all who are starting your journey now. All the problems and issues you are having are temporary because it you will see the rewards. Its worth it in the long run. Keep it at it and you will get there. You will noticed little things that are eye pleasing. Other things such as sitting in a resturant booth become easier no longer having to worry about having to find a table and chair. The worry of that fades away little by little and you now can come in with your friends and sit where they sit. You can walk longer, you are no longer breathing hard, you can get up with a spring instead of twisting to get up.Your confidence in yourself and your ablities change too, for the better. Those are things you will noticed along your journey to your goal and for that will make you stay on course because its worth it.
