I'm in a size 8, sometimes size 6 jeans and in a medium sized top! I never, ever thought I would be this small. Life is so wonderful. I am so happy that I had the sleeve procedure done! For those considering this procedure, please research whether it would work for you. It certainly worked for me.

MILESTONE! I just bought a pair of size 14 slacks, and they FIT PERFECTLY! I am SO excited!!! I do not regret the decision to have the gastric sleeve for one single moment. NOT ONE. I will NEVER be on a diet again, because it enabled me to change my horrific lifestyle. If any of you are contemplating the surgery, be mentally prepared to change your life for the better, and it will work for you!

Thanks everyone for your well-wishes and especially for your support. I'm leaving the house in about 20 minutes to head up I-95 from Woodbridge to Washington, DC. If anyone knows the type of congestion around here, especially during rush hour, they know that is more of a challenge than this surgery.

Anyway, my surgery is scheduled for 10:30 this morning, and I look forward to becoming a "Post-Sleever".
