So I have not posted in awhile. Sorry Y'all. I have missed you too!
Update: Since my surgery, I have lost 90 pounds! ! Yahoo!! It is so exciting and so remarkable! Sometimes I don't believe that scale, but it is true! Pictures to come soon.

It has been several months since my last post. Life got busy real quick. I went back to school, finished my medical assisting training, and I graduated May 5th with my Associates degree.
I had 2 more EGDs since January. Hopefully those were the last 2. I have had 5 of those procedures done total.
I have lost 80 lbs.! Sometimes I can't believe that. It has been such a long time coming. I am so proud of myself. I persevered and made it through the rough times.

So this is my 6th time back to the hospital. Breaking news.... I think this will be my last. Surgeon did his third e.g.d. scope on me yesterday to open up my blocked esophagus. I can eat and drink now with no pain!! I feel the best I have felt since my surgery in October. Hopefully this nearly 4 months of torture is over! I can not ever begin to describe the smile on my face!
Thank you everyone who read this blog and everyone who prayed for me. I appreciated that soooo much!

I know alot of people have been concerend about me. I appreciate that so much. My journey to surgery was very rough and so has been the journey of recovering from surgery. Here is an update for ya.
Surgery- Oct. 27th
Stay in hospital- 6 days
Feeling- good
Stomach leak found- one week post op
Stay in hospital- 25 days
Feeling- poor
Found striture in esphogas- did first EGD
stay in hospital- 21 days

I have now been in the hospital over 45 days over a period of 2 and a half months the leak thas finally healed but in that proccess my esophagus becamed blocked and i cant eat or drink. I have had it ballooned open twice but it has not really helped. I am on iv nutrion.
