Biography:

I'm 40 yrs. old, married 12 yrs. w/2 children. I have a son who is 11 and a daughter who is 7. They are my EVERYTHING! I have been overweight most of my life and after the birth of my 2nd child and a hysterectomy, I ballooned up to almost 300 lbs. When I got to the point that the clothes at the "fat" stores would no longer fit, SOMETHING HAD TO BE DONE! I started researching WLS and had decided on Lap Band. Well, I have an autoimmune disorder so it was too risky placing the band in my body. So my surgeon and I decided on the sleeve surgery. I had my surgery on April 16, 2009 @ Surgical Specialty Hospital in Slidell, LA.
