Biography:

Retired teacher, seems like I became really overweight in about 3 short years although I've always struggled with my weight. I'm in the Kaiser program but have no surgery date yet. Kaiser is relatively strict and they will not give me a surgery date until I get to the goal weight my docter set for me. I got there once but since I've been about 2-8 pounds too high. It is now March and I still don't have a date. I'm attending support group at Davis facility.soon. I really wish I could start participating as I've grown really fearful since I first signed up on this site and that was months ago. I'm a little afraid that i will be sickly (it seems there are so many vitamins to take for the rest of your life and you must sip water all day and you have to eat your meals section by section...at least that is what Kaiser says...eati protein first, etc. I don't think I would be so fearful if I hadn't just turned 60!
