It depends on your doc. My PO liquid was only 7days. And yes, that is where they entered the upper GI to sleeve the higher portion of the stomach. Which is where the majority of my pain came from PO due to the excess upper gas trying to escape. How did your surgery go? How are you feeling?
How many days for liquid? Did you find out about that extra incision? Is it still pretty painful?
Thank you. I am now 4 days post op and I feel fine other than the incisions and there's an incision right below my sternum that is causing a great amount of pain, but I wasn't told they would cut me there? And I forgot to ask the doctor about that area. Also I'm still on the clear liquid diet, but I'm STRARVING and seem to want to cheat. What will happen if I ate something outside of the clear liquid diet?
Hope the surgery is uneventful, smooth and that you have a quick and easy recovery. Can't wait to hear all about it.

I hope all goes well with your surgery tomorrow. I saw your post about needing to go back to work after one week. I'll be the same and am also in an office. I am anxious to hear how you feel. Best wishes.

Hi all. I'd like to know what you guys think about me going back to work after week 1 post op? Thoughts ? Experiences? I'm hopeful I'll feel up to it. T is after all an office type job, so really just doing a lot of sitting. Thank you Renda
