Biography:

Im 34 years old. Have been struggling with my weight all my life. Then came the medical problems. Been on blood pressure meds since i was 24 years old. High cholesterol since i was 14. i just had my 1st child in 2010. i developed gestational diabetes during the pregnany, it was a very horrible time. i want to eventually have another child, but prior to my surgery on June 21st 2011 my ob dr did not recommend i do so. I am taking one day at a time, and hope & pray that this surgery nips alot of my medical problems in the bud and i will safely be able to have another child. (a girl) :) Have an 18 month old boy and he is quite a handful, seems even more so since my support system fell through and ive been doing this all on my own.
