Biography:

What brought me here? I'm 52 years old, 5'3 and 247 lbs. Heart Attack 2 years ago with a Stent placement and on blood thinner. Diabetes type 2, Fatty liver disease, HBP, High Cholesterol, Sleep Apnea and suffer with depression as well. I have been over weight for 15-20 years, not at this weight but through the years climbing. I have two boys 26 and 15 years old and 1 grandchild. I'm currently going through the steps to meet the criteria for bariatric surgery through Medicaid. I've heard it can be a long process and could go through it and then be denied anyway. I'm afraid I may end up with a death sentence before I get the surgery. I pray that's not the case. I have a lot of living to do. I joined this site because I saw someone post the link from a facebook page for bariactric patients who utilize Medical Tourism. They said this was a very informative site, so I decided to check it out and learn somethings.
