Omg omg omg 3 days til surgery! !!!! Started preop diet today. Sooo excited!!!! Im seeing dr. Almanza. Ive had 3 family members go already. All had wonderful outcomes. Any last minute advice? ???

Hey looks like we have the same surgery date with Almanza.

I sent that prematurely... the main thing is to relax. Thats great youll have someone there with u. I can only imagine what my sister went through. She went first and was by herself. Nobody speaks very good english and when my sister woke up in the recovery room her and the other women in the same room were convinced they didnt have the correct surgery and they were missing a kidney or other organs. Lol:-):-):-) so just remember its definitely not the good ole' USA. But we have to do what we gotta do to be thin and beautiful!!!!

Tips...when you get picked up from the airport, the driver may drive you straight to the lab. Dont panic! Everything looks sketchy in mexico. After the lab you will either get dropped off at the hotel or hospital. There are no refrigerators in the hotel room. You wont be worried about it but a heads up for your daughter. You can order broth from room service for free as soon as your cleared but according to my sister. All your going to want is water and 1-2 sips will be filling....can u not wait!!!!! They wont give you any pain meds after your IV is out, so you may want to get something from your doc before hand..especially for your flight back.

My daughter and her boyfriend are going with me. Hubby is going to stay home and hold down the fort. I have not been on any kind of diet, at least recently. I'm right at 237, my highest, and I've got to do something. I'm glad you know people who have used him. THat makes me feel better. Did they give you any pointers on things you may need to bring? My Gyno is taking care of me after and she wrote me so many liquid drugs they will think I'm a dealer. She had the bypass several years ago so she knows what i'll be going through.

Looks like we will be there the same time. My surgery is on the 17th.
