Congrats on your progress. How are you coming along. At 2.5 years out, I'm finding the hardest part is maintaining but I continue to work hard. I can now eat more at least a small saucer of food. I have to strive to make good choices. I've worked too hard to get to this point. Just sending you words of encouragement. I tell myself that eating the junk food does not make me nearly as happy as being healthy feels.

Gm weight lost world ,im actually doing good started this journey and im very proud of myself still eating a lil bit of food ,but maintaining my diet,no juice only crystal light and water , im almost at my goal weight im 280 want to get to 250 by my 42 birthday!!!:d

Im so excited went to doc today i have lost 37 lbs ,im overwelmed,not shock i see the change im only a month out of surgery ,god is awesome its like i was reborn again ,never had health problems ,but just wanted to start eating smarter this time around ,doc also stated you can eat three small meal a day ,i stated to him that i cant even eat and whole egg it takes me three hours to eat the one i cooked !!lol

I'm in so much pain when u eat it hurts no body told me about the gas you feel then I can't even get a protein shake down or even pills I'm full to the max been sipping on water not a full bottle is there any way.

I was nervous too, especially as the day came closer. If you have any questions at all I will answer best I can. Doc M sugarcoated the process, in my opinion. His resident told me (right before I went into the OR) that there would be little to no pain. He was wrong. I know everyone's pain tolerance is different but they are cutting out most of your tummy and it hurts. Also, if the pain med in recovery doesn't seem to take the edge off say something. I found out later that I was only getting .5mg when I could have gotten 3mg of the pain med. They were great at St marys. You are in good hands.
