    Hi, I am post op 8 days today, surgery date was Dec. 26, 2014. It was great to find this site and have someone to associate with. I haven't had many problems, but I also haven't lost much weight yet. Not sure what most are losing at 8 days. I don't find that I have any problems drinking, but I am not over drinking, just don't feel the "full" feeling everyone talks about. Maybe that will come when I move to solids. But right now, I can drink 1/2 of a protein shake (5oz) at a time.

    8 days post op and I'm feeling pretty good just a few things I was hoping I could get some help with.
    1.)Currently when I eat and drink I can feel the food/liquid. Its almost like its squeezing thru and traveling down. Will this feeling go away? Will I have to sip beverages forever or will I be able to drink normally?

No appetite!

so I am 18 days post op and my appetite sucks! It's just not there I feel like I try and force myself to eat but then if I force too much I feel like I'm going to be sick. I know the nurse said its normal the first month not to be hungry but I can literally go a day and just eat jello and maybe some broth. I was so excited about going to some foods and now I don't even have the desire to eat them.My surgery was on December 23rd and I'm down 21 pounds so I'm excited about that but a little worried
