Hello! I noticed your visitor message about not loosing in the 3rd week....I had my surgery 12-30-14 and I hit a stall at my 3rd week for almost 2 weeks. It is so fustrating!! Just follow the docs plan and it'll come off. after my 12 days stalling (I weighed in everyday, that made it worse!) I lost 2 lbs and I've been loosing since. Type 'stall' in the search bar. Seems like 98% of sleevers go thru the dreaded stall, and some more then once. I also read (like poodge) that during this stall your probably loosing inches. I didn't measure at all, just took my measure ments. You lost 16lbs in 10days, your body probably just needs a little adjustment time. I'm about 6 weeks out and up until this past week my jeans all fit the same, on Thurs my jeans were too big! I fit into the next size down and I got two compliments- my first two. I have lost 35lbs so far and people are just noticing a difference. It takes time and everyone is different.
Wow, that was really long ...sorry....I just saw your message and I remember how I felt a few weeks ago. It will definitely pass.

Hey girlie-that is one long commute! I have read here that a lot of people go through a stall at 3 weeks. Are u getting all your protein in? How about your water? My doc wants me drinking 64 oz water-he said it is critical for sleeved patients-i was not drinking that much bet having bad problems with constipation-tmi again. Anyway what I have read here States that u r probably losing inches if not lbs right now and that is normal apparently. Try to not freak out and just keep on doing what your doc info told u to do. It will come off. I feel your frustration. Hope this helps u my friend. Ly

Hi Lisa-so good to hear from you. I am doing well but like you having a hard time slowing down when I eat! I realize now how much I gobbled down my food. Cant wait to get back to work-i see doc on tues and hope he will clear me. Just plugging away at pureed food-not my favorite! I still drink 1 or 2 shakes a day to get in my protein. So glad u r feeling better. Glad to have you with me on this journey! Ly
  6. Note to self. You know how to stop eating when your full, but OMG if you eat that little bit to fast. You will pay with hours of pain... God sometimes I'm to stupid for my own good...

Hi Lisa-just typed a message to you but posted it in the wrong place-duh! So sorry to hear u r feeling sick-keep sipping that water. Thank u for the food suggestions- I seem stuck on retried beans cottage cheese and applesauce eggs split pea soup. I will try your suggestions. Hope u r feeling better. This is quite a journey isn't it? I am learning how much I enjoyed inhaling my food and have to remind myself to slow down. I set up myvticker under ticker but also use control panel to edit it. I find it very confusing as I am not the beet at learning new computer programs. Sending u healing prayers my friend. God bless u. So good to hear from you. Ly
  9. I'm so sick. It started a couple of days after I got home. Fever of 101 to 103. Very sick. I know it's not from my surgery because my sister is really sick to. Omg, I feel so awful. Cold, hot sweating really bad, then sooo cold. It's been days now and not relief. I wonder if anyone else that was in Mexico with me is also sick. If you guys are, please let me know, and if you not, your so lucky. It makes my surgery second on the list that's how bad I feel. Ugggg
  10. I have lost 13 pounds from pre-op through week one.
I can't figure out how to put dates and amounts of weight loss. Help would be cool

Hi Lisa-glad to hear u r home . I have been doing laps around my livingroom but that's about it for walking. I had to rest my leg at first. I have had cottage cheese peaches applesauce refried beans split pea soup. That's about it so far. No trouble with any food yet. Hate pureed phase. Cant seem to get enough protein in. No pain and I have the opposite of the runs! Are u lactose intolerant? Maybe the shakes are doing it to u . So good to hear from u my friend. God bless u-ly
  12. Hi all. I'm home. Wow, yesterday was a long day. I'm doing really well. Soup, drinks, vitamins and a little pudding. Pain is not bad, just sore. Tmi. Still can't stop running to the bathroom. To make sure I get all my Vitamins, I got every kind of chewable I needed, and put them in hot water to melt. Taste sweet, and I feel like I have more energy.
How is everyone doing, I've been out of touch for a day

I am sooo glad I could help. Are u home now? So glad everything went well. My dream is to ride horses again. I miss them soooooo much. Maybe not a trail ride but even in a boring arena just to ride again. I love everything about them-their smell riding grooming giving them carrots etc etc. Lets keep our dreams forefront in our minds to get thru the rough spots. How do u feel? Isn't it weird to spend all day sip sip sipping? I am so harpy for u girlie. Sending hugs
  14. Just got my tummy tube out. Really didn't hurt, just strange feeling. Weird. Feels so good to have it out. Yahoo
  15. Went to the X-ray office, and no leaks. I get my IV and my tummy tube out tonight. Feeling pretty good. Still a lot of gas and tmi (the runs) tip, be careful to dilute the apple juice I didn't know....lol. I do now..lol
I really have not had any bad in this whole process except on. At the hotel, there are great nurses. The morning shift is super, super duper awsome, but be aware that the hours each shift is 6:00 am to 6:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 6:00 am. The night shift are not quite up to what they should be, but that. Was. Just one group so I don't think. We should judge, but be aware. Of the shift times so you know what's up. I have made some really good friends here, and we will be staying in touch and already have some plans for summer.
It's truly amazing that there are such great people in. The world. I will share more later after I get my tummy tube out and tell you how that went..chow for now

January 19th. 14 days until Mexico

The closer I get the more excited I get. I also notice that the closer I get the more crap I'm hearing about Dr. Almanza. I know he does more surgeries per day then some, but there are some scary stories out there.
The one thing I have done is go on weightlessagents.com who set this all up for me and I ask them questions. I am very up front, and I confront everything I see and I ask about stuff.
They have been helpful, but I also know that there is always bad things if your looking.
